Adding a Campfire Activity as a Canvas Assignment allows grades to automatically go into the Canvas Gradebook with all the other student grades.
Add a Canvas Assignment
From a Canvas course with the Campfire LTI available, navigate to Assignments and press + Assignment.
Set Submission Type
Set the assignment Submission Type to External Tool [1] then press Find [2] to browse available LTIs.
Select the Campfire or TEKSbankClassroom LTI
Press Campfire or TEKSbankClassroom to open the Activity selection modal.
Select the Activity to link in Canvas
Select the Activity you want to link to the Canvas assignment [1], then press Select Activity [2].
Finish Configuring your Canvas Assignment
You should now see the URL to launch your Activity in the Submission Type box in Canvas. At this point you can configure any other Canvas assignment settings. Be sure to save the assignment before leaving the assignment page.
