GLFM now allows the ability to import field boundaries from the Rural Payments Agency.

The following guide will take you through the process.

Please note - This functionality is currently available for customers with Sites in England only. In the future, we will be adding the ability to import field boundaries from other third parties and files.

From the fields tab, you will be able to click the Import fields button here -

You will then be prompted to connect to the Rural Payments Agency.

On the next page you will be required to enter your Single Business Identifier (SBI) and accept the Terms and conditions. Once entered, you will be able to click Start Import -

The next screen allows you to link specific fields registered in the RPA database to the fields existing in your account or to create new ones, if your site has none set up.

The next screen will populate with importable fields shown in the map on the left side and a filterable list of these fields on the right -

You can hover over fields in the map to see their names and, on the right, start to type field names to bring up a drop down of available fields -

New fields can also be created from imported ones by clicking in the box and selecting Add new field from the dropdown.

This will open a free text box to set a field name. Click OK to continue -

Once you have assigned the fields you wish to import you can filter using the drop down to the following options -

Please Note - Fields with an area difference of more/less than 20% will flag with a warning triangle -

This will also be repeated at the top of the page.

Once you are happy with your linked fields, click Import Selected Fields. The number of fields selected is shown in the brackets -

Your selected fields will be imported and you will be prompted with the option to return to the fields screen or re-start the import process -

Any new fields created will now show in the Field screen, any extra details will need to be added in the field details screen as usual.
