Did you know you are able to upload files to Telus Supply Chain on behalf of organisations? Follow these steps below!
Navigate to the ‘Add a new file’ section from the main dashboard:
Four options when uploading a file are mandatory, these are highlighted by a red asterisk. You need to ensure you select a file type, choose a file to upload, ensure the ‘Uploaded by Organisation’ is correct and enter the expiry date.
Once you've done that - in the "Upload on Behalf of Organisation" text box enter the name of the organisation you are uploading files for and the system will search for the organisation. Once it's found the correct one, simply click on it to select it:
Please note the expiry date will either correspond with the document you are uploading, for instance it may be a certificate which expires on 31st December 2020, or you can select ‘No expiry date’ if the document doesn't have one:
There are options that are not mandatory when uploading a file, so if the document has one you are able to enter an issue date, associate any relevant products, enter a version number and a score if it's applicable:
You can then choose which organisations you would like to be able to see the file. You can either select ‘None’ or ‘Only selected organisations’. If you choose to only share with select organisations, you are able to choose which ones from ‘My Customers’, ‘My Suppliers’ and ‘Public Chain Members’:
Please ensure you click save once you have followed this process.
When you return to the files section - you will then notice that even though the file has been uploaded by a user at your organisation, it will say who it has been uploaded on behalf of:
This is particularly important when you're uploading documentation on behalf of your growers - and we would recommend this is the correct way to upload files that do not relate to your organisation!
