Task lists can also be created from the task library, which is populated from the file types list. For example, file type “British Retail Consortium (BRC)” is in the library as “Upload British Retail Consortium (BRC)”.
To create a new task list from the task library, click on the Tasks tab and then click Task Library from the drop-down menu:
The screen that opens will display a list of pre-populated tasks. Click on all of the tasks you wish to create:
Once you have selected all of the tasks, click Create task list:
In the form that opens enter the Title, Due by date and enter any Guidance for each of the tasks you have selected:
If you have made a mistake and need to remove a task from the list, you can click Remove on the task you wish to remove.
You then need to assign the tasks to organisations. Click Select organisations. A pop-up box will display all of your direct and indirect suppliers. Select as many organisations as you need.
If you are assigned to more than one internal site you will have the option which internal site you want to task list to be issued by.
Either click Save and issue tasks to issue the tasks and make the list visible to the assignee organisation, or click Save task list if you wish to issue the task list at a later date. Alternatively, click Save as template if you wish to save this task in the library, enabling you to issue to a number of organisations and make edits in the User Defined Templates area.
