What will be the net wage for my shift?

This depends on many factors, such as amount of hours finally registered and if you have payroll tax credit enabled

Written by Temper | Work to Live

The basic wage for your Temper Staff shift is listed on the shift page and is your expected gross wage. It is based on the number of hours that are scheduled, and already takes standard settlements around holiday pay into consideration.

Several factors can affect how much you will be paid out in the end:

  • Final registered hours: Your net wage depends on the hours the hiring company ultimately registers.

  • Irregular hours: If you work during irregular hours, such as overtime, weekends, or nights, you might receive a higher pay rate.

  • Payroll tax credit: If this is enabled by you, your net pay can be higher. Read more about payroll tax credit here.

  • Travel distance: You might be eligible to receive a travel allowance. If this is the case, the distance you travel for your shift determines how much travel allowance you will receive. For more detailed information, read this article.

Final net wage

Temper handles employment tax by paying it directly to the Dutch Tax Authorities, and this amount is deducted from your gross wage. The tax rate that applies to you is based on your expected earnings for the year.
