How to Make a Payment With a Credit Card on the Tenant Portal

You can pay your balance with a credit card on your tenant portal

Overview

If your property manager has enabled it, you can pay your rent balances with a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, etc.) This also includes a Debit Card. While this is convenient, credit card and debit card payments will incur a 3.25% Platform Fee (service fee).

The Steps

  1. To make a payment with a credit card on the tenant portal, you need to first add it as a saved payment method. Click Make a Payment and continue through the wizard until you get to Step 2 (Payment Method). Click the + New Payment Method button on the Payment Method step. If you don't see this button, move to step 2.

  2. Choose the Credit Card/Debit Card payment option.

  3. Enter your information accurately, including the CVC code and Zip Code associated with your card. If you are having issues adding a credit card, click here.

  4. If the card number was entered correctly and verified by the processor, you'll now be on step 3 of the Make a Payment wizard to Finalize Payment. Please verify all the information you see here to make sure it is correct. If everything looks correct, click Pay Now or Schedule Payment to finish.

Note: All Credit Card and Debit Card payments from the tenant portal will be charged a 3.25% Platform Fee.
