How to Remove a Saved Payment Method on the Tenant Portal

Learn how to remove one of your saved payment methods if you are no longer using it.

Overview

Your payment method is saved in DoorLoop when you add it. If you want to remove your payment method, you can by following the instructions below.

The Steps

Note: If you have an auto-pay set up with the payment method you are trying to remove, cancel the auto-pay first before continuing. Follow the article here for instructions on how to cancel your auto-pay: How to Cancel Auto-Pay Through the Tenant Portal.

  1. To remove your saved payment method, click Make a Payment on your tenant portal homepage.

  2. On the Payment Details page, select Single Payment for the Payment Frequency. (No need to worry about the Payment Amount or the Payment Date.)

  3. Click Next to continue.

  4. On the Payment Method page, locate your saved payment method and click the Red X on that payment method.

  5. On the Delete Confirmation page, click Delete. Once you do, your saved payment method will be deleted. You can now exit out of the Make a Payment wizard. If you need to make a new payment, click Make a Payment again.
