For extra security, Superadmins can change their organisation settings to allow two-factor authentication (2fa) on your users' accounts. This will provide you with a unique code to put in when logging in to ensure strong security.

If the setting is applied, the first time a user logs in they will be presented with the QR code similar to the one below πŸ‘‡

How to turn on / off two-factor authentication for your organisation

  1. Log in to your Tended Dashboard.

  2. Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the screen.

  3. Click "Organisation" from across the top settings options.

  4. You should now be able to see "Two-factor authentication".

  5. Click "Edit". Click on the toggle to turn the setting on or off.

  6. Click "Save" when you're happy. The setting will now be applied to everyone in your organisation.

How to add Tended to an authenticator

  1. Open your authenticator app (we recommend Google Authenticator).

  2. Select the + symbol, bottom right of the app for Google.

  3. Select Scan QR and scan the QR code on the website.

  4. The code will then be added to the list of your authenticated websites/apps.

Once your account has Two-Factor Authentication set up, you will be shown a page to enter the code whenever you try and log in.
