How does Treehouse provide an accurate price for The installation?
Using your address and the answers you provide in our short survey, Treehouse can accurately price your Home Charging installation. Occasionally, they have to make minor adjustments based on the photos that they receive, but this only occurs in a minority of instances and you’ll always have the chance to cancel your project if you no longer wish to move forward upon receiving your final project scope and price.
Why does Treehouse need photos of my panel after giving me a price of The installation?
The photos help us finalize your job scope and price, prepare the permit application, and ensure that your electrician has the right equipment on installation day. Why do I need a permit for EV charging at home?
EV chargers are powerful appliances, so it’s important that the installation is done according to national and local electrical codes and inspected. Without a permit, homeowners insurance may deny your claim in an accident and you may be ineligible for incentives. Superior quality and safety - always performed by a licensed, vetted electrician. Treehouse takes care of permitting.
When will I schedule my installation?
Once Treehouse has reviewed your photos, they'll finalize and share your project requirements for your sign-off. Then, they'll submit the permit application and reach out to you to schedule your installation.
How long does home delivery of the charger take?
It may take 2-3 days for UPS depending on the region of the country.
How long does home installation take?
Most installations are completed within two hours. Some jobs that require the installation of load management devices can take a half day, and only in rare cases does the job take longer than that.
What happens if I have a question or issue after my installation?
Treehouse is your main point of contact for any questions after your installation. Treehouse installations come with a 12-month labor warranty. How fast will my EV charge?
Charge 8x faster than Level 1, with Level 2 Charging. With a Treehouse installation, most EV's will gain 25-40 miles of charge per hour, which translates to a full charge overnight.
What if my price changes for the installation after my loan is funded?
After you submit photos, it is possible that your price may change compared to your initial estimate. If you submit photos after your loan is funded and your price is reduced, Treehouse works with Tenet to issue a credit to the balance of your loan. If the price increases, Treehouse will charge you directly, outside of the loan, for the price change. You’ll always have the chance to cancel your project if you no longer wish to move forward upon receiving your final project scope and price.
