How to set up a company managed project in TTM for Jira

Prior requirements

To use TTM for Jira you will need a Jira project. You can use any of the existing projects or create a new one. To determine the type of project you want to use navigate to the project you wish to check and look at the bottom left corner of the screen.

If you see "You are in a company-managed project" that means your project is of type company managed and you can proceed with this article. If you found out your project is a team managed project click here.

Setting up company managed project

1. Navigate to Test Management under apps in your Jira project:

2. Click on Allow access:

3. Accept the authorize app dialog:

4. Select a region according to your company GDPR compliance:

Note: you only do this once for the entire Jira cloud, if you cannot see this step your region is already set proceed to step 6.
