How Default Locations Work
The app allows you to set a preferred location that will load by default whenever you access key pages such as the dashboard or the forecast view. This helps reduce repetitive selection and speeds up daily workflows.
Setting Your Default Location
To set your default location:
Navigate to the dashboard or forecast page.
Open the location drop-down menu.
Click the heart icon next to the location you want to make your default.
The selected location is now saved as your default going forward. This default will apply automatically each time you return to these pages.
Pinning Locations for Faster Access
If you work with multiple locations, you can use the pin icon to keep important locations at the top of your list.
Click the pin icon to pin a location. Pinned locations will always appear first in the drop-down.
Click the pin again to unpin it.
This feature improves accessibility when switching between several locations throughout the day.
⚠️ Watchouts
Default applies only where the location drop-down exists: Ensure you are on a page with a location selector when setting your default.
Pinned items remain until manually removed: If your list feels cluttered, check for older pinned locations and unpin them.
