Completing Your Sessions

Mark attendance, handle no-shows, report issues, and manage payments

Updated over a week ago

Updating Participant Status

After each scheduled session, you need to manually update the participant's attendance status. This is important for tracking and payment purposes.

Required Status Updates:

  • Attended: Mark participants who showed up and completed the session

  • No Show: Mark participants who didn't attend their scheduled session

Managing No-Shows

When participants don't attend their scheduled sessions:

  • Mark their status as "No Show"

  • You can re-invite no-show participants to book another time slot

  • This gives participants a second chance if they had scheduling conflicts

  • You will not be charged a credit and incentive if a participant is a no-show.

Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

If a participant behaves inappropriately during a session:

  • Use the "Report" function to flag the participant

  • This removes them from future recruitment pools

  • Helps maintain quality standards for the platform

Payment and Completion

Attended Sessions:

  • Participants marked as "Attended" will automatically receive their incentive payment

  • Payment is processed according to the incentive compensation amount set in your study setup

Cancelled Sessions:

  • If you cancel a session within 4 hours of the scheduled time, the participant will still receive their incentive

  • Cancellations with more notice do not trigger automatic payment

Session Recordings

  • All sessions are automatically recorded by Tetrabot

  • Recordings are available in your project's Sessions section

  • Use these recordings for analysis and sharing insights with your team

Tracking Your Study Progress

Monitor your recruitment progress through the participant dashboard:

  • See how many participants have attended vs. no-showed

  • Track total completed sessions against your target number

  • Export participant data for reporting and analysis
