Downloading a Form Response as a PDF

Got a client response you want to save, print, or send along to your team? You can turn any individual form submission into a polished, on-brand PDF in just a couple of clicks.

Why you'd use this

  • Archiving. Keep a permanent record of client feedback or intake answers outside of Tezzera.

  • Sharing. Send a clean, branded copy to a teammate, contractor, or the client themselves without giving them access to your form dashboard.

  • Printing. Bring a physical copy into a meeting or add it to a project binder.

The PDF isn't a plain text dump — it mirrors your form's actual design, colors, and layout, with the client's answers filled in.

How to download a response

  1. Open the form. From All Forms, click into the form that received the response you want.

  2. Go to the Results tab. Along the top nav, click Results. You'll see a list of every response, with columns for Submitted date, Time, Email, and ID.

  3. Open the response. Click the at the end of the response's row, then select See responses.

  4. Download it. Once you're viewing the response, you'll see a blue bar at the top confirming "You're viewing a form response." Click Download PDF in the top-right corner.

That's it! The PDF saves straight to your downloads folder, ready to open, print, or share.

A couple of things to know

  • File naming. Tezzera names the file automatically using your form title and a timestamp (e.g., Creative-Direction-Feedback_2026-08-10T14_55_02.883Z.pdf), so you'll always know which form and submission it came from.

  • One response at a time. The Download PDF button generates a PDF for the specific response you're currently viewing. If you need PDFs for multiple responses, repeat the steps above for each one.

  • Design carries over. Any custom colors, fonts, and images you've set up on the form will show up in the PDF, so it looks like your brand — not a generic export.
