Canceling an Interview for Applicants

Cancel a scheduled interview directly through Thalamus before your interview date.

Important: Some programs may limit when interviews can be canceled or require a reason for cancelation. If the Cancel interview option is unavailable, contact the program directly. Once canceled, your interview slot is released back to the program and may be offered to another applicant.

1. Cancel a Scheduled Interview

  1. Navigate to the Calendar page

  2. Select your scheduled interview event

  3. Review the interview details to confirm you've selected the correct interview

  4. Select Cancel

  1. Confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel interview

After your interview has been canceled:

  • The interview will no longer appear on your Calendar

  • The interview will be removed from the Scheduled section of your Dashboard

  • Your interview slot will become available to the program for other applicants

  • You can schedule another interview date if one is available
