Intel tags help indentify and track customers and leads in BPro. They are a flexible option to allow you to define and tag things that are important for you to track. Multiple intel tags can be assigned to your customers and leads, and most BPro reports can be filtered with Intel.
Creating Intel:
First, open the Intel Builder page from under the Customize menu. From the Intel Builder page, you can click 'Add New Intel' to create a new tag. Name your Intel, and then select whether it has 'Parent' intel or not. Click Save to create your intel tag.
Parent vs Child Intel:
The intel builder supports creating intel with a parent>child structure. When creating intel, if no 'parent intel' is assigned, the intel will be 'Top Level' (pictured above). If you assign a parent intel, then the intel you create is considered a child. A top level intel becomes a parent when it has child intel assigned to it. This allows you to create related sets and subsets of intel. *Parent intel will be shaded lilght blue, and will display a small arrow that you can click to expand and display associated children.
Click the 'Add Child Intel' button to create child intel under the parent.
Edits:
You can edit intel to update the name, deactivate it, or change the parent intel it is associated with.
Click 'Remove' to remove a child intel from the parent set, making it a standalone, top-level intel.
Clicking 'Delete' will delete the intel tag. *If you delete a parent intel, it will delete all of the child intel tied to it as well*.
Edit the details above, or edit the Child Intel structure.
* Note: You cannot edit intel tags that belong to a parent/hub BPro account. But, you can add to existing locked parent and child intels, as that does not affect the intel in the parent BPro account (Intel shares down, but not up).
Search and Sort:
Use the search field to quickly find intel tags of interest. Use the various page sorting options to make it easier to view longer intel lists as you build your intel structure.
