For your weightlifting sessions, always do the full snatch or full clean unless another variation is specified. Some examples:

Example 1.

A) Snatch
A1. Build up to a heavy single (H1) for the day
A2. 10 reps for time @ 80-85%H1

The movement is specified as "snatch." That means these are all squat snatches.

Example 2.

A) Clean and jerk
A1. Build up to a heavy double (H2) for the day
A2. 10 reps for time @ 80-85%H2

The movement is specified as "clean and jerk." That means these are all squat cleans and the jerk is your choice - split, power or squat. When choosing your jerk variation, make sure you consider what you will need when the weight gets really heavy. (If you always power jerk, you may not be able to split when you need to receive the weight deeper.)
