Overview
The Person AI Summary is an AI-generated overview of a person's profile in Thrive. It's designed to give recruiters a quick, consolidated snapshot of a candidate based on data already in the platform — without requiring manual review of each individual section.
The summary is read-only and appears directly on the Person profile. A Copy button is available to easily transfer the summary elsewhere.
What data does the AI Summary use?
The summary is generated using the following information from the Person's profile:
Work Experience
Job title
Company
Start and end dates
Role description
Education
Degree
Institution
Start and end dates
Notes
Only public notes are included
Per note: content, date created, and date last updated
Scorecards
Scorecard name and notes
Ratings, including: rating value, criteria name and description, score definitions
Candidacies
Project title and associated company
Position description
Highest stage reached
What the AI Summary does not include
The summary is based solely on the data points listed above. Information not captured in those fields — such as private notes, outreaches, or documents — is not reflected in the summary.
The summary is also not editable. It is intended as an AI-generated snapshot, separate from notes or bios that you or a candidate may write manually.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the AI Summary? No. The summary is generated automatically and cannot be modified. If you'd like to add context or commentary, use the Notes section on the Person profile.
Are private notes included in the summary? No. Only public notes are factored into the AI Summary.
How do I copy the summary? A Copy button is available directly on the summary. Click it to copy the full text to your clipboard.
What if some of the summary seems incomplete or inaccurate? The summary reflects only what's currently in the platform. If key information is missing, it may not yet be captured on the Person's profile. Updating their work history, education, or other fields will be reflected the next time a summary is generated.
