Self-Serve Overview

This article outlines TimelyGrader’s self-serve platform features and plans, and compares them to the Institution Plan

Updated this week

What is Self-Serve?

Our self-serve platform lets you manage your TimelyGrader subscription and features directly through our platform without needing assistance from our support or sales teams. You can sign up, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan anytime, as well as access all the tools included in your chosen plan.

Free vs. Starter Plan

We currently offer both a free and a paid self-serve plan. With the Free Plan, you'll be able to:

  • Create courses and assignments

  • Preview and fine-tune AI-assisted grading and feedback

  • Build rubrics manually or use our AI-powered rubric generator

With our Starter Plan (paid), you get everything in the Free Plan, plus:

  • Unlimited courses and bulk uploads

  • Access to a content bank

  • AI-generated grading and feedback suggestions for final student submissions

  • Personalized support

You can start with the Free Plan and upgrade to a Starter Plan whenever you need more features or capacity. When you sign up for the first time, you'll get a 14-day free trial of the Starter Plan.

Self-Serve vs. Institution Plan (API)

The Institution Plan is built for organizations looking to integrate TimelyGrader with their learning management systems (LMS), with current support for both Canvas and D2L.

Key differences between the Institution Plan and self-serve plans include:

  • Seamless LMS Syncing: Instructors can sync assignments, student rosters, and push grades and feedback directly back to their LMS.

  • Student Access: Students can use TimelyGrader to receive instant feedback on their assignment drafts.

  • Administrator Controls: Admins can manage user access to TimelyGrader and export accreditation and reporting data.

🎉 Getting Started

To explore self-serve options, you can sign up on TimelyGrader and choose the plan that fits your needs. If you'd like to learn more about our Institution Plan, please schedule a meeting with our sales team.
