Synchronize bookings with more Google Calendars using subscriptions

This article describes how to synchronize bookings with more Google Calendars than the main connected Google accounts.

To synchronize bookings with other Google Calendars than the main connected Google accounts.

  1. Connect the main Google Calendar account - here's how.

  2. When it's done, go to the web version of the Google Calendar.

  3. Make sure you're logged in to the same Google account as in Step 1.

  4. Open the Settings.

  5. Select the Add Calendar option.

  6. Click the Subscribe to calendar option.

  7. Enter the email address of the account whose Google Calendar should be synchronized with Timerise.

  8. A person who has access to the above-mentioned email will receive an info and instructions from Google that someone wants to gain access to his Google Calendar.

  9. After obtaining consents, the new Google Calendar will appear on the list of calendars you subscribe to.

  10. Go back to the Timerise app - https://timerise.io/

  11. Click your Profile section in the main navigation.

  12. Select the Connections tab.

  13. Make sure the new Google Calendar is listed. Important: Loading the list might take a moment.

  14. To keep transferring all the bookings with the new Google Calendar turn on the Synchronize bookings with this calendar option.

  15. To keep downloading events from new Google Calendar, enable the Get availability and special days from this calendar option.

From now on, all booking for services hosted by the Google Calendar connected as the main one will transfer the booking to the Google Calendar connected to it as a subscription. If an event appears in the subscribed calendar, it will be downloaded and included in the availability of the above-mentioned service.
