Overview

Timerise ensures smooth communication between service providers and clients with a robust notification system. Notifications keep everyone informed about important updates throughout the booking process.

Types of Notifications

πŸ“¨ Email Notifications

Email notifications in Timerise help maintain professional communication with clients. These notifications include:

  • Booking Confirmation: Sent immediately upon successful booking. If a host is assigned to the service, a notification will also be sent to the host.

  • Booking Reminder: Reminds clients of upcoming appointments. Depending on your needs, we can send from one to more reminders at a specific time before the booking date. If a host is assigned to the service, a notification will also be sent to the host.

  • Booking Cancellation: Notifies clients when a booking is canceled. If a host is assigned to the service, a notification will also be sent to the host.

  • Booking Reschedule: Updates clients about changes in their appointment schedule. If a host is assigned to the service, a notification will also be sent to the host.

πŸ‘‰ For email notifications, we use the built-in Sendgrid system. We recommend that customers create their own Sendgrid account and we will connect it to their account, project or organization account. We're also open to integrations with other email providers under the Enterprise plan.

For instant communication, Timerise supports SMS notifications, which are particularly useful for reminders.

SMS notifications in Timerise help maintain professional communication with clients. These notifications include:

Additional email/SMS notifications

Additional notifications may appear when the project has a reservation flow consisting of manual confirmation of the booking by the customer or the service host:

  • Manual confirmation by the customer: the customer receives an email/SMS with a link to confirm the reservation.

  • Manual confirmation by the service host: the host receives an email/SMS about the need to accept or reject the booking made by the customer.
