Once you have completed the Multiplication Tables Test, you can upload or manually add the scores to the MTC Hub on Times Tables Rock Stars.

Uploading scores in bulk:

Step 1 - get your results from the DfE website:

Before you start, you must download what's called the Common Transfer File (CTF), which you can obtain from the DfE website after the MTC has finished (normally around the 23rd of June each year). To access the file please:

  1. Log in to the DfE website

  2. Click "Services"

  3. Click "Multiplication Tables Test"

  4. Click "View Pupil Results"

Step 2 - upload your file to TT Rock Stars

Once you have the CTF, you can upload this to Times Tables Rock Stars by following these steps.

Click MTC Hub > Pupil Results > Upload MTC Scores as shown below:

Once you reach this page below, upload the CTF file:

We will match the students in your spreadsheet to your Year 4 students on Times Tables Rock Stars. You'll see the result of those matches on this screen:

If any of the matches are incorrect, click the student name and choose an alternative student from the dropdown list.

Click Complete Import to finish the upload.

Adding or amending scores one by one:

Click MTC Hub > Pupil Results > Upload MTC Scores.

Hover over the column in the table called "MTC Score", and a pen icon will be visible as shown below. Click to enter your score.
