Wednesday is King's Day in the Netherlands. Therefore, we have a release feast befitting for kings πŸ‘‘

Social timeline updates 🧑

New posts from your colleagues or trainer and the comments your post receives... everything is bundled into one digest email. This way, you won't miss anything! Learners can set their preference for either daily, weekly or no updates in their profile.

So keep track of your mailbox πŸ“¨ Timeline posts & comments can directly be opened from the update mail, which will create a nice pull towards your platform.

  • As an admin, you can set up the digest emails via

LXP Control > General settings > Platform emails

  • As a learner, you can set up the digest email via Profile

Point system for module tiles 🏷️

Learners can now immediately see whether a module requires them to redeem credits from their budget (yellow icon), whether they will earn accreditation points (green icon), or both. The number of points is shown right next to the icon πŸ˜ƒ.

The new point system is part of our Q2 focus: playful, personalised & goaldriven learning experiences. We look forward to seeing you experiment with these updates.

Plug & play with hyperlinks

When there's not much time, but a high demand for content, you can accelerate by adding external content. In addition to SCORM and LTI modules, you can now add hyperlinks.

A hyperlink that is added as external content will be shown in the shape of a module tile, ready to be part of your learning experience. This way, you can redirect learners to e.g., documents on Sharepoint, websites, and make it part of their overall journey or programme progress.

Check out the article to find out more about external content and how to link them in LXP πŸ‘‡

Changing target groups for active sessions

Sessions feature is getting better and better. We have more more small but mighty update on this feature. πŸ‘‘

Before, it was not possible to change the target groups in an event series once the learners start registering. This was not very convenient but the problem is solved πŸ’ͺ Now you can add more the target groups in event series even if some learners have already registered.

Please note: 1) you can only add edit an event series if you have permissions over all the target groups of that series and 2) if there are already people registered or if the series is in progress, you can only add more groups (not remove the existing ones).

Editing group identifiers

Increasing the autonomy of admins is one of our key goals when developing the LXP. Admins can now manually edit or overwrite existing group identifiers in the structure tab. This allows you to align your own coding, wording for groups with LXP.

Attempts are shown in user progress

It was already possible to monitor individual progress. Now, it's also possible to see the number of attempts. This allows you to distinguish easy from hard-earned success per user ⭐

So... What did you think about our kingly release? 😎
