How it works
Enabling this feature uploads your HubSpot “Contact” call recordings to your tl;dv account automatically.
To enable the integration, visit your Integrations page > HubSpot > Click on “Connect” > Complete the account authentification process > Click on the “Configuration” tab > Enable “Upload Contact call recordings to tl;dv”
Next time you have a call with a “Contact” on HubSpot, the recording file will be automatically send from HubSpot to tl;dv.
While the file is processing, it will appear on your Uploads page. ⚠️ Please note that this can take a few minutes to hours, depending on the recording length. If there was an error with your upload, you will be notified in the interface. In case you still see the loading indicator, please be patient, your upload is processing.
Once uploaded, these recordings will be treated like any other meeting in tl;dv:
The recording will be available on your library
Existing meeting settings will apply. For example:

Troubleshooting
1. Reconnect the HubSpot integration
If you were already connected, please reconnect the integration before enabling this feature.
Reconnecting ensures you grant the necessary permission scopes for the feature to work correctly.
2. Verify the HubSpot call owner has an active tl;dv account
The integration will match the HubSpot call owner’s e-mail to the e-mail of the tl;dv account with this integration enabled.
If a recording made in HubSpot wasn’t automatically uploaded to tl;dv, check that the e-mail of the owner of the call on HubSpot corresponds to an active tl;dv account. Update as needed and try again.
3. Only “Contact” calls are supported
As of November 27th 2024, this feature supports HubSpot calls made with “Contacts” only.
If you’d like support for other types of calls with different HubSpot objects (e.g., Deals), we invite you to
(please specify which HubSpot object - Deals, Accounts, Companies, etc- you’d love to get calls from😉)
or reach out to our Sales team.
4. Error in the upload
In the unlikely event that your call is not successfully uploaded to tl;dv, and you have tried the previous troubleshooting steps, you can download the recording directly from Hubspot and upload it to tl;dv. Here’s an article on how to do it!
If this does happen, there will be no speaker identification on the transcript and the contact details won’t match what you have on HS, but you will be able to obtain a full transcript and notes.
