Sharing your recordings from tl;dv can be done manually on a per-meeting basis, or set up to happen automatically. You choose who gets access to your recordings.

Share Meeting Recordings Manually

  • Once a meeting is recorded in tl;dv you can choose to share it with whoever you like.

  • Each person you share it with can have a different level of access.

Note: You must have admin or editor access to a meeting to change its sharing settings.

Change who has access to your meeting

From the meeting page, click "share" above the video:

In the modal window that appears there are three important areas:

  1. The overall level of access for the recording. This is the most important setting for your meeting's privacy. You can choose from:

    1. Anyone with the link - This makes a meeting entirely public, so it can be viewed without signing in. Note: It won't be indexed by search engines.

    2. People with access - You choose specific people who can view the meeting, or give no one access to keep the meeting entirely private.

  2. The people (or domains) who currently have access - This is a list of everyone who can currently access your video. If you have automatic meeting sharing enabled, you'll see the meeting participants here. There are also quick options to add your organization, or your team.

  3. The invitation field, to give other people access - Enter the email address of anyone you'd like to share the meeting with, or to make the meeting accessible to anyone from a company, add their domain like this: *@company.com

Note: When you add someone to the meeting, they will receive an email notifying them.

Change people's level of access

Next to each person or domain there's a dropdown where you can select the level of access this person or domain should have. Choose from:

  • Admin

  • Editor

  • Viewer

Tip: You'll also find the option to remove someone's access completely - People are not notified if you remove their access.

Once you've decided who can access your meeting, copy the link in the modal, or use this button on the meeting page:

Tip: The toggle lets you choose if you want to include meeting notes when you paste the link.
