The meeting does not appear on your CRM

Your CRM was not populated after your meeting ended

There could be a number of reasons why tl;dv is not automatically populating your CRM after the meeting ended. Let's see some frequent reasons why, and what we can do to fix it:

New contact

Our Pipedrive and HubSpot integrations allow you to automatically create a new contact or person automatically when they do not exist already in your CRM.

If you're meeting for the first time with someone new, and you did not toggle this option when you first set up your configuration, our integration will not create a new contact or person, and will not be able to populate the CRM accordingly. 😦

Check your configuration settings for Pipedrive or HubSpot, and choose "Yes" on the dropdown menu at the top of the Configuration panel.

Note: this feature does not exist for other CRM integrations on tl;dv, so the contact will need to already exist or be created ahead of the meeting, with a matching e-mail address.

You can confirm if the right contact was listed as an invitee by hovering over the icons on the top left corner:

Calendar integration

tl;dv will gather the details of your contact and match them to the information you already have on your CRM (or even create a new person or contact), but only if you have enabled but only if you have enabled full calendar integration. 😄

When you set up your calendar integration, tl;dv will:

  1. Collect the e-mails of your invitees

  2. Assign the meeting notes to the corresponding profile on your CRM

No more manual copying and pasting. 😎

If your calendar is disconnected from tl;dv, our system cannot gather the information it needs to fill in your Tasks, your Calls, your Meetings, your Notes, etc., with the details of your Contact.

Scheduler or calendar tool

Do you use a service like Calendly, HubSpot Scheduler, Reclaim.AI or similar to arrange your meetings? This could also create a disconnect between your calendar, tl;dv account and your CRM. 😭

It's important that when you're booking your meetings, and opening slots for others to book your calendar, the e-mail address that shows on the event should match your address. Even if the event is visible in your calendar, it will not contain the information our system needs to automatically join.

Internal or external meeting

Your CRM integrations will only be triggered for external meetings, so if tl;dv does not capture an e-mail address with a domain different from yours, the system will register it as having been an internal meeting.

You can hover over the icons on the top left corner to confirm how this meeting was registered and who the invitees were:

In the example on the right, tl;dv will not trigger the CRM integration, since there are no external participants.
