So Slack is giving you a hard time? Let's figure out how to fix this! Some of the most common issues that can happen with your Slack integration are:
My meetings are not appearing on Slack
If your meetings don't appear in your selected Slack channel, please check the following points:
1. Are you the owner of the meeting or did a colleague record it?
If a colleague recorded it, it will only appear on Slack if they also set up the Slack integration. You can check who recorded the meeting by hovering your cursor over the icons on the top left corner of your meeting page to see who the recording was “Created by:".
2. Is the Slack channel public or private?
If it is private, click on the icon with three dots on the top right corner and then one "Open channel details"
Select "Integrations", and click on "Add automation"
Go the apps menu and add "tl;dv"
3. If you can’t find the channel the integration is pushing your meetings to, check your integration configurations. If you don’t select a channel, one will be created for you, called #tldv-channel. If you don’t have permissions, it will not be created and there will be an error when tl;dv tries to trigger the workflow.

My meetings are appearing on Slack twice
If your meeting notes and recordings are being pushed to Slack twice in the same channel, it might have to do with the settings you chose for your integration. Let's figure it out:
If this is what your integration setup looks like, or even if you have all three options toggled, our tool will send your internal Meetings to the same Slack channel twice under different instructions!
How to fix this:
Push all your Meetings & Highlights without duplicating it:
Disable the "external" and "internal" option, this way you're not overcrowding the Slack channel you want the meetings to be visible in!
If you have the option to "Push all" and "Push internal" active, the automation will push the same meetings and notes twice!
Push your Meetings & Highlights to different channels:
Say you want all your meetings & highlights to be in a given Slack channel for all your team mates to see, but you actually want to keep closer tabs on your external meetings.
You can choose to "Push all your Meetings & Highlights to Slack" to a general public channel, and then "Push your external Meetings & Highlights to Slack" on a private channel, where only you and your team can view them.
If this still doesn't help you fix the overcrowding of your Slack channels, write to us with:
