Why are my kitchen tickets not printing?
My tickets are not printing - what should I do?
I’m having trouble printing our restaurant’s kitchen tickets - how do I fix this?
Answer
There are various possible reasons why kitchen tickets won’t print. If the printer was previously working, please check for the following scenarios:
Your printer may not be powered on.
Your printer may be out of paper rolls or its paper rolls may have not been installed and/or configured properly. Learn more here: Printer Paper Rolls and Ink Ribbons.
Your printer may have lost connection to the network. Learn more here: Verify Your Internet Connection.
If the printer is new or recently set up, please check for the following:
Your restaurant’s printer settings may have not been configured correctly or your printer has not been assigned to a prep station. Learn how to configure and assign your restaurant’s prep stations here: Configure and Assign Prep Stations.
The printer and device that you’re using to send the order may not be connected to the same Local Area Network (LAN).
