Can I still receive Uber Eats orders while Iโm in Offline Mode?
During an outage, can I still receive Uber Eats orders?

Answer
If Toast is temporarily unavailable and you are operating in Offline Mode, you can still receive Uber Eats orders. During a Toast outage, orders will appear in the Uber Eats Orders dashboard and will need to be entered into Toast manually.

To continue receiving Uber Eats orders while operating in Offline Mode, follow these steps:
Log in to Uber Eats Orders (UEO). You can do this on the following device types:
Desktop or laptop computer (see note below for further instructions if needed)
Android or iOS phone or tablet
Uber Eats tablet (if you have one)
In the top-right corner of the Uber Eats Orders screen, selectStore Status.
Select Open.
Note: To access Uber Eats Orders (UEO) from a computer:
Navigate to: https://restaurant-dashboard.uber.com
Enter your Uber Eats restaurant login credentials.
Allow notifications so you can receive order alerts.
Once your store is set to Open, new Uber Eats orders will begin appearing in the Uber Eats Orders (UEO) dashboard or tablet instead of being sent directly to Toast.
For each incoming order:
Open the order in the UEO dashboard or tablet.
Manually enter the order into your POS.
Prepare the order as usual.
Once Toast service is restored, orders will automatically resume flowing to Toast through the integration and you will no longer need to manually enter orders. No reconnection or reconfiguration steps are required.
