Kitchen Tickets

Kitchen tickets will always be printed based on prep station assignments. If you would like to route your online items separately from your in-store items, you can route them to a different prep station based on the dining option. For more information, check out Ticket Routing & Filter Options.

Payment Receipts

Printing is driven by the selections made on the Online Ordering settings page in Toast's back-end. For more information, check out How to Stop Receipts from Printing Automatically for Online Orders.

Kitchen Tickets

Kitchen tickets will fire based on the configured online ordering prep time. If your tickets are not auto-printing as expected, check out Troubleshooting Online Orders Not Firing To the Kitchen. If your tickets are printing but not at the expected time, take a look at your prep time settings.

Payment Receipts
|
Payment receipts for future online orders will never print automatically. You can manually print a payment receipt from the terminal at any time and it will provide a signature line if it meets the signature threshold. A tip line will not be printed as it's assumed customers will have already tipped on the order online. For more information, check out Reprint and Resend Receipt from Payment Terminal.

Kitchen tickets set to ASAP will fire to the kitchen as soon as the order is placed.

Payment Receipts
|
If your Orders send only after check is paid setting on the UI Options page is set to No, payment receipts will automatically print when the order is placed. The only exception to this rule is if you have cash payments enabled for online ordering. If your approval method is set to manually approve ASAP orders as soon as they are placed, payment receipts will print once approved.
