Factory Reset Guidance for Elo V3 Devices
Factory-resetting certain Elo V3 devices can cause device setup failure and prevent payments.
If an Elo V3 device is NOT on the latest firmware (e.g., versions like 4.50.540120051+a, 4.50.54+a) and is factory reset:
Setup will fail
Guardian will not be installed
Device will not be able to take payments
Prevent Device Issues
Before performing a factory reset on an Elo V3 device:
Confirm device is on:
4.5001.5401259+a (ends in 59+a)
OR manually update to this version first

Perform another factory reset.
