How do I switch between my xtraCHEF extract configuration between QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online?

This article specifically details what actions need to be taken to switch your extract in xtraCHEF. If you need assistance with switching your QuickBooks Desktop subscription over to QuickBooks Online, please contact QuickBooks directly or check out Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.


In order to have your extract configuration switched from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (or vice versa), email xtraCHEF at support@xtraCHEF.com. Include the following information in your email:

  • Current integration (What version of QuickBooks are you currently integrated with?)

  • New integration (What version would you like to start integrating with?)

  • Tenant name (The name of your xtraCHEF account, found in the upper-right corner of your xtraCHEF dashboard)


Once we receive your request, we will switch the extract to allow you to connect with your new QuickBooks selection. At that point, follow the steps in one of the two articles below to integrate with your new version of QuickBooks:
