Path redirects allow you to automatically send users and search engines from one page on your domain to another, ensuring seamless navigation, preserving SEO value, and managing site changes effectively. Toast Websites allows you to create redirects within your domain, so broken or old links can still point users to the correct site.
In Toast Web, navigate to Websites > Settings & Integrations > Path redirects.
Select Configure website path redirects.
Enter the source path (old URL) When a customer visits this route field.
Enter the target path (new URL) in the Redirect to this route field.
Select Save to complete the redirect. Note: We recommend testing the updated URL to confirm the redirect was successful.
