SkyTouch Integration Overview
SkyTouch is a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) integration. This integration enables Toast customers operating inside of Hotels utilizing SkyTouch to charge meals directly into a Hotel guest’s room/folio via a room charge payment.
Enable SkyTouch Integration With Toast
To enable the SkyTouch integration with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
Enter SkyTouch in the Search field and select Add Now.
Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions, and select Confirm to accept. For more information, see the Data Scope Visibility article. If you have multiple locations, select from the drop-down menu.
Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more about Toast Partner Integrations, see this Support Center article: Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.
Once completed, a representative from SkyTouch will contact you within one business day to assist you with the onboarding process. The onboarding process may take between three to four weeks, depending on your customization needs.
Configure SkyTouch in Toast Web
Once you select Add Now on the SkyTouch tile in Toast Web, you will select which restaurant(s) you would like to connect to your SkyTouch account, and select Apply
After you select Apply, you will be forwarded to a confirmation screen.
After adding the integration tile in Toast Web, customers will receive an email confirming the activation of the integration.
Once you receive the email, you should directly contact Omniboost support via email at integrations@omniboost.io to finalize the integration and connect Toast to SkyTouch.
Note: Omniboost’s team also receives an email alerting them that a new integration has been added for Toast. The Omniboost team will reach out directly to the customer within one to three business days, regardless of your first contact with Omniboost.
After you add the SkyTouch tile in Toast Web, the Toast Integrations Support Team adds the Room Charge as an Other Payment Option for you.
Note: This must be done BEFORE the final SkyTouch mapping with Omniboost's team can begin.
Toast Web Configuration Items
As with all PMS/Hotel Integrations, SkyTouch requires the following configuration items to be set up in Toast Web:

Sales Categories
To ensure your sales are tracked correctly in the SkyTouch system, you must assign a Sales Category to every item on your menu in Toast. This is a crucial step before the integration can be finalized.
You can set up these categories in Toast Web by using the Menu Builder, Edit Menus, or through an item's Advanced Properties.
Note: This must be completed for all locations using the SkyTouch integration. If items are not assigned to a Sales Category, the revenue will not be sent to your SkyTouch system.
Other Payment Options
As part of the setup for your OPERA Cloud integration, our team will add two new payment options to your Toast POS:
Room Charge: For processing standard room charges when your system is online.
Room Charge - Offline: To continue taking room charge payments even if your internet is down. These transactions will be securely processed once you're back online.
Receipt Setup
Changes to a location’s receipt setup allow hotel guests to provide their hotel room information directly on their receipt, so servers and restaurant administrators can update their hotel information. This information will most likely include the guest’s name, hotel room, and signature.

Note: If you manage more than one location, you have flexible options for your hotel receipt setup. You can apply a single setting across your entire restaurant group or create custom settings for individual locations.
