There is a pop-up message on my POS that says, "Couldn't rejoin Toast network? Please call Customer Care". How do I rejoin the right network?
Answer
If you are not connected or are unable to join the Toast network on your POS device you will be guided through troubleshooting steps automatically. This pop-up message would be triggered if your device is on "the wrong network," in other words, you are a Toast-managed network customer and you are NOT currently on the Toast-managed Wi-Fi.
If you are unable to automatically rejoin the Toast-managed network through the on-device troubleshooting steps, you will see this dialogue box/pop-up message:
If you select the arrow to the right of Toast Customer Care contact information, it will expand the dialogue box and show the message below:
It is important to note that this happens most often on Toast Go® 2 handheld devices since most Toast terminals are hardwired.
