Page Banners for Online Ordering Pro

This feature enables you to customize those banners and provides a new pop-up modal option to feature offers and messages.

Configure Spotlight Feature Banners for Online Ordering Pro

You can customize up to three spotlight feature banners, with banners auto-advancing to the next spotlight feature after 4 seconds.
The banner color will default to the brand/accent color and font but can be customized for the banner in configuration settings.
You can add a URL to link guests to another page (such as a specific menu item).
You can fix the banner to the top or bottom of the screen and place it under the top navigation header or the menu navigation.

Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery > Branding & Customization Configuration > Menu page configuration > Page Banners.
First, toggle Show Spotlight feature to On.
Now, let’s customize. Complete the following steps:
- Banner background color
- Banner font
- Banner placement
- Spotlight feature name (required)
- Description (required)
- URL link
- Additional details
Optional - Select Fixed in place if you want the banner to stay in place as guests scroll through your online ordering page.
Optional - Select +Add a spotlight feature to add an additional banner.
Once all information is entered, you will see a preview of your banner.
Save and publish changes.

Online Ordering Pro users will be able to create one of three different pop-ups for your Online Ordering page:

Image and text - Customization settings consist of primary and secondary font and color, background color, popup placement, and pop-up appearance rules.
Text only - Customization settings consist of primary font and color, secondary font, and color, background color, popup placement, and popup appearance rules.
Form: Text and Image - Customization settings consist of primary font and color, secondary font and color, background color, popup placement, appearance rules for form field labels, email notification settings, and confirmation page settings.
Form: Text Only - Customization settings include form field, text, and color configurations.

Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery > Branding & Customization Configuration > Menu page configuration > Pop ups.

Note: If you purchased Online Ordering Pro through the Digital Storefront Suite after February 2024, you will edit your banners and pop-ups through Websites editor. Log into Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery > Branding & Customization Configuration > Branding & Customization to access Editor > Pop ups.
Now, let’s customize. Complete the following steps:
- Pop-up placement
- When should the pop-up appear on the page?
- How does the pop-up close?
- Optional - Promo code
Next, edit pop-up details.

Note: Details will differ depending on the pop-up type selected.
Once all information is entered, you will see a pop-up preview based on your pop-up type selection and entered information.
Save and publish your changes.
