How do I remove the QR code from receipts?

Some users may need to remove QR codes to streamline the payment process or due to preferences for simpler receipt formats. To remove the QR code from your receipts, you can follow these steps:
Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Finance > Related > Settings > Toast Pay > Configuration.
Look for the optionQR code on the receiptand toggle it to Deactivate.
Save and publish changes.
To verify the update, create a test order to print a receipt and verify that the QR code is no longer showing. Changes may take up to 24 hours to fully appear — after this time, retry printing a test receipt to confirm visibility.
Note: If the QR Code on the receipt toggle keeps reverting to On after being saved and published, this is a known issue. Contact Toast Customer Care rather than repeating the toggle.
For locations managing multiple restaurants, repeat these steps for each individual site. You can also prepare settings for unopened locations in advance.
