How do I remove the QR code from receipts?

Some users may need to remove QR codes to streamline the payment process or due to preferences for simpler receipt formats. To remove the QR code from your receipts, you can follow these steps:
Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Payments > Payment methods > Toast Pay.
Look for the option QR Code on the receipt and toggle it to Off.
Save and publish changes.
To verify the update, create a test order to print a receipt and verify that the QR code is no longer showing. If QR codes still appear after being toggled off, try toggling the setting back on and off again to reset the system. Changes may take u to 24 hours to full appear. After this time, retry printing a test receipt to confirm visibility.
Note: For locations managing multiple restaurants, repeat these steps for each individual site. Settings for unopened locations can also be prepared in advance.
