Why are the tiles and buttons on Toast Web locked for an employee?
Answer
After logging in, some users may see lock icons and blocked access to Toast Web features. This also appears similarly on some reporting features such as the Weekly Overview. This happens when the user does not have proper permissions to view that information.
Locked tiles list the permission needed in order to view its information. Many of the Quick Actions are unlocked with permissions in 4. Restaurant Admin. Owners and managers should visit Assign User Access Permissions to learn how to grant permissions to an employee and remove the locked access.
