Online Ordering by DoorDash is a white-label online ordering solution that allows merchants to customize their menu to match the branding their guests know and love. Online Ordering by DoorDash goes beyond the base DoorDash third-party ordering integration to ensure that your restaurant’s visual aesthetic carries over to your guests’ DoorDash ordering experience.
Online Ordering by DoorDash Details and Prerequisites
You must already be subscribed to Toast Partner Integrations (TPI), which is available as part of Restaurant Management Suites.
Online Ordering by DoorDash will send and receive the order information necessary from guests, using the same setup and configuration items in Toast Web, as the DoorDash direct integration (Marketplace). You do not need to create new revenue centers, dining options, payment types, or Marketplace Facilitator tax rates.
The DoorDash on/off toggle in Toast Web will pause both Online Ordering by DoorDash and Marketplace activities. If you just want to pause Marketplace and keep Online Ordering by DoorDash active, please follow the instructions outlined in this DoorDash help article.
Online Ordering by DoorDash Setup and Onboarding
If you already have DoorDash integrated, you'll be able to access Online Ordering by DoorDash within the module.
Otherwise, follow the Toast Partner Integrations process below to begin integrating with DoorDash (and thus, Online Ordering by DoorDash). After adding the DoorDash tile, you can select your locations, and DoorDash's team will reach out to you to finalize your Online Ordering by DoorDash setup. Follow the steps below to do so:
Log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
Enter “DoorDash” in the Search field and select Add Now.
Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. For more information, see the Data Scope Visibility article.
