How to change the email address on your Topstep profile

To update the email address associated with your Topstep profile, please review our Single Profile Policy below before submitting your request. Once reviewed, contact our Trader Support Team with the following details ready:

  • Your Topstep username

  • The last 4 digits of the card on file

This helps us verify your identity and process your request quickly. Click here to reach Trader Support.


How to change the first or last name on your Topstep profile

If you made a slight error or typo with your legal first and last name when creating your account, please reach out to our Trader Support Team can help correct it. Please note that this applies to minor corrections only — we are not able to update a profile to reflect a completely different name. Please note that we are not able to transfer profiles between individuals.

Single Profile Policy

Each trader is permitted one Topstep profile. Multiple profiles for a single trader are a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in:

  • Profiles or Trading Combines being closed without warning

  • A temporary or permanent suspension of your accounts

All Trading Combines, Express Funded Accounts, and Live Funded Accounts must be opened using a single Topstep profile. Do not create a new Topstep profile when purchasing additional Trading Combines.
