PPC Insights displays a collection of data specific to the PPC and Variance Reasons compiled across the project portfolio in Touchplan. It is critical that project teams Promise Work Weekly to ensure that commitments are tracked weekly and accurate PPC can be tracked.

PPC is 20% of the Performance Index and the metrics can be found on company, portfolio, and project analytics dashboards.

PPC (Percent Plan Complete) is a reliability metric that calculates what percentage of weekly commitments were met ‘On Time’ in Touchplan over a specific period of time. Touchplan displays promises (or commitments) as black “pins” located on the finish date of the respective tickets. When tickets are marked as complete-- the pins will change color to display red, blue, or green depending on whether the work has finished early, late, or on time in relation to the pinned commitment. For example: the number of green pins divided by the total number of pins (for a specified period of time) = PPC %

Overdue Promised Tasks is the number of task tickets that have been pinned in the past 6 weeks but have not been updated as completed and still have a black pin. Click on the Overdue Promised Tasks number in the tile to see a list of all the tickets or scroll down to the Overdue Promised Tasks tile at the bottom of the Dashboard.

The PPC table shows metrics including PPC, Total Promises and Overdue for projects in an account.
