Assigning Caddy Bib Colors

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following product:

For major championships, sometimes caddies are assigned specific bib colors depending on their player's position in the pairing group. Once assigned, the bib colors can be included in reports. This helps the tournament staff identify specific players while they are competing on the golf course.

In this article, we will discuss how to assign bib colors and use them in reports.

Assigning Bib Colors:

To assign bib colors for an event, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Event > Event Profile > Rounds & Scheduling.

  2. Select the bib color for each pairing group position. The default color name will populate, but can be overwritten if necessary. In the screenshot below, the caddy of every player listed in position 1 in every pairing group will be assigned a red bib.

  3. Click "Save".

The bib colors will then be assigned to the pairing group positions.

Creating Reports with Bib Colors:

After assigning bib colors to the pairing group positions, you can then create reports with the Report Composer using the "Bib Color Name" and "Bib Color" data fields (as shown below).

Below is an example report that can be created using the two data fields:

Bib color names are also available to be included in spreadsheets using the Spreadsheet Composer.
