Managing Banners

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following products:

Banners will add some character and color to your leagues and events. They show up in many different areas in the software and can really help with sponsor exposure and enhance the look and feel of the event or league.

Areas where you can display the banner:

  • Top of Portal

  • Emails sent to players

  • TV Display

In this article, we will discuss how you can upload and manage your banners.

Uploading Banner:

To upload your main (default) banner for your account, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Logos, Banners, and Backgrounds.

  2. There will be three tabs at the top for you to toggle between; logos, banners, and backgrounds when adding banners. Click on Banners.

  3. Click "Choose File" in the popup navigate to the banner you wish to upload.

  4. Click on the file and press open.

  5. Add an "Image Title." The title will allow for quick searching of a banner.

  6. To complete the upload process, click "Upload Banner."

Note: If this is the first banner you have uploaded, it will be assigned as your primary banner and propagate to all new events and leagues. You can change it within an event/league under Event/League > Logos, Banners & Backgrounds. If this is not your first banner, you can mark it as the "Default Banner" if you wish to make it the default banner for all new events and leagues.

File Specifications:

When creating the banner, the file types must be either: jpg, jpeg, gif (static image), or png. For the banner to be displayed perfectly aligned on the portal, make sure the image size is 980 pixels wide. Banner heights typically range from 180 pixels to 250 pixels.

Round by Round Banners for Events/Leagues:

When managing banners within an event or league, you can also select specific rounds to use the banner. By doing this, the banner will only be displayed on the TV leaderboard for those rounds.

Additional Banner Options:

Also, note the logo/banner settings at the top. You can control where these banners are viewed. For instance, you may not want a banner in the emails you send to the players. You can uncheck that box, and the emails sent to the players will have no banner.
