Many clubs are eliminating the exchange of printable scorecards and other material from their events. While this creates some challenges, one viable solution would be to email the printable material to the players so they can download and print from home.

In this article, we will discuss how you can email scorecards and other printable material.
Emailing Printable Scorecards and other Material:
There are two possible approaches you can take when emailing scorecards:
Generate a PDF of all scorecards for the round and email to all of the players. When doing so, players can open the PDF, find their scorecards within the PDF and print that specific page. The benefit of this approach would be that the scorecards are stroked and handicapped properly.
Generate a blank scorecards for the round and email to all players. When doing so, players can open the PDF (which will only be one page with the blank scorecard) and print the scorecard. While the advantage to this approach is that players do not need to search and find their scorecard, the disadvantage is that the scorecard will not be stroked and handicapped for the players. After formatting and creating the scorecards, you can then send them via email to your players. To do this, follow these instructions:
Go to Rounds > Manage Emails > Compose Emails.
Select the recipients (typically "Attending Roster").
Compose the rest of the email. When emails are sent from the Rounds Menu, we can include additional round specific information in the body of that email to include tee time, starting hole and other players in a pairing group.
Send the email.
In the example below, printable scorecards and rules sheets are being attached to the email.
