Q: JGA requires us to upload scores to J-Sys. Can I get a CSV of scores from Golf Genius TM that includes Course ID and Tee ID for this upload?
A: You can create a custom spreadsheet report with all the necessary information.
Before creating your export CSV, you should ensure Course ID and Tee ID are set for each tee part of the course details. To do this, follow these instructions:
Go to Event/League > Course Details.
Edit the course.
Review each tee for the "External ID." The External ID includes Course ID and Tee ID and should be in the following format "CourseID-TeeID." For example, if the Course ID is 54456 and the Tee ID is 002, then the External ID is 54456-002 (as shown below).
After making any changes to the course, click "Save."
After verifying that the tees contain the External ID, you can create your J-Sys CSV file score export. To do so, follow these directions:
Within an event, Go to Rounds > Report Center.
Click "New Document" and select "New Spreadsheet."
Name the report.
Display data for each Player.
The spreadsheet format is "Data Displayed per row."
Set the File Format to CSV.
Click "Select Fields" and include, at a minimum, the following fields:
Handle (Player Related)
In the section "On the Course," select the following (as shown below):
Course
Course Abbreviation
Tee
Course ID
Tee ID
Scores
Tee Time
Hole
Click "Done."
Select the Categories that the report should be saved to. If you want to use this report in multiple events, add it to the "Basic Spreadsheets" categories, and you will be able to access this report in any event/league.
Click "Save & Download Spreadsheet." The report will be saved to the Report Center, and the CSV will be prepared for download.
Click "Download" and select "Download CSV."
The CSV will be downloaded to the computer in a format similar to the one below.
