Score Verification is a feature that implements the flow of allowing scoring officials and/or managers the ability to view and edit scores for each player/team as they finish playing. When using score verification, player or team scores are not considered finalized until one of the following verification processes have been completed on the mobile app or manager's site:
Both a Scoring Official and a Manager have verified the score
The manager have verified the score
Scoring officials have verified the score
In this article, we will discuss setting up and managing score verification.
Enabling Score Verification:
If you would like to enable score verification for the round, go to the tab Round > Enable Score Verification and toggle the switch to "Yes." You will then be presented with a new page containing various options (as shown below). Note: If you need to modify the answer to any of these questions, go to the Round tab and click the text for "Enable Score Verification," and you will be presented with these options again.
Scoring Official Verification: Select which option you would like to utilize to verify scores. A score will not be considered verified until the selected verification process to completed:
Enable the Scoring Official Verification step: Only the scoring official must verify scores.
Enable the Manager Verification Step: Only the manager must verify scores.
Enable Double Score Verification (Enable both the Scoring Official and the Manager Verification Steps): The scoring official and managers must verify scores.
Note: A log entry is created whenever a score is verified and is visible on the Player Roster Log and on the Enter Scores page when expanding the individual player pop-up.
Number of Completed holes to verify a player: Determines the number of holes that need to be completed before a player's score can be verified.
Team Score Verification: This determines whether scores should be verified per individual or team. If checked, scores will be verified per team.
Autofill Score Verification: Check this option if you would like to autofill the scores on the verification line for the scoring official and/or manager.
Score Verification Dashboard:
After you have enabled score verification, you will be taken to the Score Verification Dashboard. You can access this Dashboard at any time when score verification is enabled by going to Round > Score Verification. In the Dashboard, you will have access to:
Scoring Officials: Allows you to add new scoring officials to an event/league. Scoring Officials will only have access to the features available to a scoring official in specific leagues/events where they are listed as scoring officials. For more details about scoring officials, Click Here.
Scoring Officials Step: The Scoring Officials Step allows scoring officials and managers to verify players' scores. Note: This step will not be enabled if the scoring official verification step is not part of the selected verification method previously outlined.
Manager Step: The Manager's Step allows the manager to verify players' scores only. Scoring officials will not have access to this option. Note: This step will not be enabled if the manager's verification step is not part of the selected verification method previously outlined.
Each of these areas will be discussed in greater detail below.
Scoring Officials:
To add a Scoring Official, go to Round > Score Verification > Add New Scoring Official. You will be asked to provide the new official's first Name, Last Name, and Email (as shown below).
Scoring Officials can be reinvited or removed from the action dropdown next to their name in the scoring officials' list.
Scoring Officials will only have access to the Score Verification Dashboard if assigned to a particular league/event (as shown below). On the Dashboard page, Officials can:
Change the Round (Only available in multi-round events)
Access the Scoring Officials Step to verify scores
Access to Shot Tracking (if enabled)
Scoring Official Step:
If the Scoring Official Verification option is checked when Score Verification is enabled during the set-up process, the Scoring Official step will be available on the Dashboard. This step is available to Scoring Officials and Managers to verify scores for players and teams.
Note: If Mobile Verification Stations are enabled when the Scoring Officials Verification Step is enabled for Score Verification, the mobile verification station can perform the step of the Scoring Official. This means that any score verified by a mobile verification station will not need to be verified by a scoring official, since it was already verified by a mobile verification station.
To access the scoring officials step and verify a player or team score, follow these directions:
Go to Round > Score Verification > Scoring Official Step. Click on "All" to verify scores for all players on a particular course. If you have multiple courses or multiple tee start, you can access each course and starting tee separately (as shown below).
Click on the scoring control option (i.e., course or tee) you would like to access. You will then be presented with a page displaying all players that still need scores verified (as shown below). Players will be grouped by starting time, team (if applicable), and course. When a score is ready to be verified, the players name in individual events and the teams name in team event will appear in blue (as shown below).
Individual:
Team:
Click on the player or team you wish to verify. You will be presented with their scores, shots (if shot tracking was used), and a Verify score line.
Verify the scores by entering scores for the scorecard. As you enter scores or make adjustments, any scores that do not match will be highlighted in yellow. Note: If the autofill option was checked when score verification was enabled, the Verify score line will be prepopulated with the player's score.
Click "Verify Scores." Once a player's score has been verified, they will no longer appear on this page.
Managers Step:
The Manager's Step of Score Verification is only available to the Customer Manager. Scoring Officials cannot access this step when logged in. If Scoring Official Verification is enabled, the scoring official's step must be completed before a manager can verify scores.
To access the manager step and verify scores, follow these directions:
Go to Round > Score Verification > Managers Step. Click on "All" to verify scores for all players or teams on a particular course. If you have multiple courses or multiple tee start, you can access each course and starting tee separately (as shown below).

When using Scoring Official Verification, scores will not be available to verify in the Manager Step until a Scoring Official verifies them. Players will be grouped by starting time, team, and course. When a score is ready to be verified, the player's name in individual events and the team's name in team events will appear in blue (as shown below).
Individual:
Team:Click on the player or team name you wish to verify. You will be presented with the scores and a Verify score line.
Verify the scores by entering scores for the scorecard. As you enter scores or make adjustments, any scores that do not match will be highlighted in yellow. Note: If the autofill option was checked when score verification was enabled, the Verify score line will be prepopulated with the player's score.
Click "Verify Scores." Once a score has been verified, it will no longer appear on this page.
Enter Scores Options:
As scores are verified by the Scoring Official and Customer Manager, individual or team scores will be marked as verified on the enter scores page. As players and pairings are marked as checked by a Scoring Official and Customer Manager, mobile score entry will be disabled (if enabled) for that player pairing group.
If scores were incorrectly verified, they could be reverted to unverified on the enter scores page as well. To revert a verified score to unverified, follow these instructions:
Go to Round > Enter Scores.
Click on the player or team name that you wish to un-verify.
Uncheck the box for "Score is verified in Scoring Official Step" and/or "Score is verified in Manager Step" (as shown below).

You will now be able to return to the Score Verification Dashboard (Round > Score Verification) and visit the Scoring Official Step or Manager Step to reverify that score, as necessary.
Leaderboard Display Options:
When using both Scoring Official Verification and Manager Verification, and the round is in progress, you have the ability to control if you would like to display an "F" once scores have been verified. To do so, go to Event/League > Event/League Profile > Tournament & Scoring > Display Options. Check the box for "Show F on the leaderboard only after scores are verified" (As shown below).
Scorecard Check Logs:
Scorecard Check logs are displayed on the Round Roster Logs page (Rounds > Round Player Roster > Player Roster Logs) and the Enter Scores page.
