Posting Scores to WHS Unsuccessful

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following products:

When posting scores to WHS, there may be cases where one or more scores fail to post. When posting (Rounds > Post Scores to WHS), a failed post will be indicated with a red "WHS" logo on the right of the player's name (as shown below).

Hover over the "WHS" red icon to view the reason for the failure. You can also go to Rounds > Post Scores to WHS > Print Report to download a report listing the details of all of the posts (successful and unsuccessful).

Troubleshooting Failed Posts:

  • Incorrect Gender: The player's gender Does not match the Gender of the Tee they are assigned to in the pairings.

To resolve the issue, if the tee was incorrect, go to Rounds > Edit Existing Pairings. Set the players to the proper Tee.

Alternatively, if the player gender is incorrect, go to Golfers > Event/League Roster. Search for the player, edit the player roster profile, and update the player's gender. If this player was imported from the Master Roster, you should update the gender there as well.

  • Not enough scores: A minimum of 14 scores must be entered in order to post an 18-hole score. A minimum of 7 scores must be posted for a 9-hole score. If the minimum is not met, scores will not be posted.

To resolve the issue, go to Rounds > Enter Scores and enter a sufficient number of scores. For instance, if playing a best ball of four tournament, there may be some holes where scores were not entered for a player because their ball was not counted. Those scores may need to be entered to meet the minimum.

Another common mistake is setting the players on an 18-hole course when only 9-holes were played. To resolve this issue, go to Rounds > Edit Existing Pairings. Set the players on the front 9 or back 9 (as shown below).

  • Net: Read Timeout: This error indicates that there is an issue with the WHS server. You can wait until WHS resolves the issue or you can contact your local golf association.
