Posting Round Scores to WHS

This feature is available for the following products:

Posting scores to WHS can be done as long as hole-by-hole scores are entered. The Adjusted Gross Scores will be computed and posted in a couple of simple steps.

In order to be integrated with WHS, your player's WHS Membership Numbers must be in the system. If you have already imported players from WHS, then that necessary step is complete. If the players in the event or league came from your master roster, make sure all the players have their correct Membership Numbers in the Master Roster.

Enabling the Option to Post Scores to WHS:

If you would like to post hole-by-hole scores to WHS, in the event or league you would like to post scores, make sure the option to post scores is enabled in the Event/League Profile. To enable to option follow these directions:

  1. Go to Event/League > Event/League Profile > Handicap Settings.

  2. Set the "Score Posting Service" dropdown to "Post Scores to WHS" (as shown below).

Note (UK WHS Customers Only): If the setting was previously set to "Do Not Post Scores" you may need to set the round score positing to Acceptable. To do this, go to Round > Round Profile > Handicap Settings > Score Posting. Select the option "Acceptable."

Enable Automatic Score Posting at the End of Round Date (UK & Slovak WHS Customers Only):

To help automate so the the tournament management functions, you can set you event/league to automatically post scores at the end of the day on your behalf. This option is handled on a round by round basis. For details, Click Here.

Host Venue Approval:

For WHS Customers not at a golf facility who need approval from a host course to post scores, they can use our Host Venue Approval option. Through the Host venue approval process, you will have the ability to request approval in order to post scores from that course to WHS. For more details, Click Here.

Through the Host Venue Approval option, WHS Customers not at a golf facility will have the ability to request approval for using the course of a club in order to post scores from that course to WHS. WHS Customer will have access to a club's course data and score posting capabilities in the timeframe of the selected round(s).

Posting Scores to WHS:

After a round is complete and hole-by-hole scores are entered, follow these instructions to post scores:

  1. Go to Rounds > Post Scores to WHS.

  2. Select who you'd like to post scores for. Use the check box on the left to select the players or click "Check All". You can also filter players by custom field.

  3. Click "Post Scores".

If a player's score was successfully posted, a green icon appears to the right of their name. If a player's score was not successfully posted, a red icon appears. If it was unsuccessful, hover over the red icon for the reasoning behind the failed posting.

To view the full posting results, go to Rounds > See Posting Results. The time of posting will be listed as well as the summary of successful and failed posts (as shown below).

To download the posting report into a PDF, click "Print Full Report".

Disabling All Auto-Score Posting for Future Rounds:

If you have previously enabled auto score posting and need to disable this for all future rounds and subsequently mark future rounds as "Non-Qualifying," you can set the event level "Score Posting Service" setting to "Do not post scores." To do this, go to Event/League > Event/League Profile > Handicap Settings > Score Posting Service, and set the drop down to "Do not post scores" (as shown below).
