If you are managing an event or league with multiple divisions, you can create and organize pairings for a round by division. In other words, players will only play with players within their division.
β
If you would like to organize pairings by division, keep in mind that you cannot have overlapping divisions (player included in multiple divisions).
To create pairings by division, follow these instructions:
If you have not done so already, create your divisions. For more details on creating divisions, Click Here.
Go to Rounds > Choose Playing Divisions.
Select the divisions to be included in the round pairings.
Click "Save".
Go to Rounds > Create New Pairings.
Set up the scheduling parameters for the first division. If the parameters are the same for any remaining divisions, select the divisions at the bottom to adopt those parameters for those divisions (as shown below).
Click "Next". Set up the parameters for any remaining divisions (if necessary).
Once the parameters are set for all divisions, you will see the summary page (as shown below).
Use the elevator bars to drag and drop the divisions to create the division order on the tee sheet (if necessary). If you are ready to generate pairings for some but not all divisions, you can skip divisions (using the toggle switch) to keep the scheduler from generating pairings for those divisions. At a later time, you can go back, skip the divisions that are already scheduled, and unskip the divisions that are now ready to be scheduled. After re-generating the pairings, the skipped divisions will stay the same and the unskipped divisions will be generated.
Click "Continue".
The pairings will then be generated and you will be directed to the "Edit Existing Pairings" page for the round.
When editing the pairings, you can identify the division for each pairing group using the provided key (as shown below).
