Round Signup Instructions for Players

Players can sign up for rounds using one of the following options:

In this article, we will discuss how players can sign up for rounds using the portal or from the invitation email, plus how they can manage their round invitations on the portal.

Signups Using Invitation Email

Round Signup invitation emails can be sent to players automatically or manually. For complete details on sending round signup invitation,Click Here. Below are the instructions for players when responding to an email invitation to sign up for a round:

  1. The player will receive an email informing them that round signup is open for a round (as shown below). Note: If collecting payment for a round, invoice details will also be included.

  2. Players can take the follow action using the button within the email:

    1. Playing (Accept the Invitation): If a player clicks the "Playing" button, they will be directed to the Round Signup Form on the Event/League Portal, where they can complete the form (as shown below).


      After completeting the form, they can click "Sign Up" and the player will be signed up for the round. The player will receive a visual indication that they have signed up, plus they will be able to edit/cancel the signup, or message the manager (if enabled) (as shown below).

    2. Not Playing (Decline the Invitation): If a player clicks the "Not Playing" button, they will be directed to the Event/League Portal, where they will be asked to confirm that they do not wish to play in the round (as shown below). After clicking "Confirm Not Playing," they will be directed back to the portal.

Signups Using Event/League Portal

Below are instructions for the player when signing up for a round using the Event/League Portal:

  1. Access the event or league portal via Directory, GGID URL link, or another option.

  2. Select their name using the dropdown in the "Upcoming Rounds" tile on the left side (as shown below).

  3. Click "Next."

  4. Click "Signup" (as shown below).

  5. Complete the signup form by entering the required information for all players (as shown below).

  6. Click "Sign Up" and the player will be signed up for the round. The player will receive a visual indication that they have signed up, plus they will be able to edit/cancel the signup, or message the manager (if enabled) (as shown below).

Signups Including Payment

If round invoices have been enabled and payments are being collected, follow these directions:

  1. On the signup form, select how you would like to pay for the round (as shown below).

    1. Pay Later: Click "Signup," and the player will receive a visual indication that they have signed up. They will also be able to edit/cancel the signup or message the manager.

    2. Pay now: Click "Signup" and they will be asked to enter their billing information and credit card information (as shown below).


      After clicking "Pay," the player will see that they have paid for the round (as shown below).


      Players can then click "Next," and they will see a visual indication of their signup status. They can edit/cancel the signup or message the manager.

Managing Round Signup

When signed in, players can manage their round signups from the event/league portal. The left panel of the portal provides a quick view of their rounds and signup options (as shown below).

Players can also click "Rounds Schedule" from the left panel to see a tile view of the calendar and the available options and actions they can take for a round.
