Updated over 2 weeks ago

This feature is available for the following product:

The Schedule tab is a dedicated step within the Team Matches Season Setup Wizard, occurring after the:

  • Teams tab for Round Robins (as shown below)

  • Team tab for Brackets formats

This tab is where you'll fine-tune the timing and participating teams for each match in your Team Match Season, for Round Robin and Bracket formats.

In this article, we will discuss the available options in the Schedule tab for a Round Robin format Team Matches Season setup wizard. For details on the Schedule tab for a Bracket format, Click Here.

Navigating Regions and Sections

To ensure efficient performance and avoid overwhelming managers with too much information, the Scheule tab, similar to the Teams tab, displays only one region and a maximum of 5 sections at a time. You can easily switch between different regions and collections of sections using the dropdown menus located at the top of the screen (as shown below):

  • Change the current region: This option becomes available if your Team Match Season includes multiple regions, the Advanced Team Matches feature is enabled, and the format is set to Round Robin. This allows you to focus on the schedule within a specific geographical or organizational division.

  • Change the current sections page: If the region you're currently viewing contains more than 5 sections, this dropdown will appear. It enables you to navigate between groups of sections.

Note: Any changes you make on the Schedule page must be saved before you switch regions or sections. Failure to do so will result in the loss of all unsaved updates.

Managing Team Schedule

The primary function of the Schedule tab is to assign verify matches and dates matches occur. There are several actions you will be able to take to manage the schedule:

  • Updating the assigned clubs to a match

  • Adding Bye's

  • Assigning Host Facility and Starting Time (if enabled)

  • Adding Matches

  • Removing Matches

Updating Assigned Clubs to a Match

On occasion, you may need to make changes to the Home/Away team in a match. If this needs to be done, you can click the drop-down and change the team (as shown below).

Adding Bye's

If you need to adjust a match and add a bye for a Home/Away team, you can click the dropdown and select bye (As shown below).\

Assigning Host Facility and Starting Time

If you enabled the "Add host facility and match starting time" option on the Initial Setup page, you'll find two additional fields for each match (as shown below):

  • Starting Time

  • Host Facility

This information is displayed in the Schedules on the Team Match Summary page.

Adding New Team Match

You can add additional team matches if needed by clicking the "Add New Match" button (as shown below). When adding a new match, both home and away will be marked as a "Bye." From there, you can add the home/away teams, and assign a starting time and host facility if enabled.

Removing Team Match

Alternatively, you can also remove matches by clicking the trash can icon associated with that match (as shown below).

Saving Schedule Changes

Once you're happy with how your schedule is set up, click the "Save" button at the bottom right of the page (as shown below).

After a successful save, the schedule information on the page will update instantly without requiring a full refresh. Once the schedules are ready, simply click the "Go to Next Step" button at the bottom right to proceed to the "Finish Setup" tab.

Notes:

  • To save successfully, every match must have both a valid home and away team assigned. If anything's missing, you'll see an error message reminding you to complete those entries. Or a bye must be used for a missing team.
